Hasbrouck Heights is one of the most densely built suburbs of Bergen County. Located on top of an elevated plateau just above the Meadowlands, more than 12,000 people occupy the area of just about a square and a half miles. The borough shares its edges with Hackensack, Lodi, Moonachie, Wood-Ridge and Teterboro, and it is directly next to Teterboro Airport which is a defining feature in pest activity in the area.
