Mosquitoes breed wherever standing water collects, and ticks hitch rides on deer and small mammals.

Fall and winter:

Mice and rats only need a gap the size of a quarter to make their way inside. Stink bugs mass around window and door casings. Spiders follow their prey indoors because that is where the insects went. Subterranean termite colonies feed right through winter.

Bed bugs have no off-season, and raccoons and squirrels will take up residence in an attic from January through December if nobody stops them.
